The Lounge

The Lounge at World Cafe Live is our intimate venue located on the upper level that doubles as a full-service restaurant. This unique space, which hosts up to 220 guests, is ideal for watching your favorite emerging artists up close and personal. Grab a seat at the bar or a table by the floor-to-ceiling windows looking out on Walnut Street. The Lounge is open to all for happy hour and dinner service, followed by a mix of community events, free programming, and ticketed performances. Full service in the The Lounge will continue throughout the evening.

On some nights a ticket may be required to enter The Lounge, typically after 8pm. Check out our events calendar for the full schedule. If you are attending a ticketed show in The Lounge, additional reservations are highly recommended. Seating is limited and is not guaranteed with your ticket purchase.

Music Hall

The Music Hall at World Cafe Live is our larger three-tiered venue located on the lower level off South 31st street, welcoming nationally touring and legacy artists. This space has a dynamic layout allowing for flexible seating arrangements that vary by event, from table seating to standing room only and many combinations in between. To check the setup for a specific event, refer to the ticketing page or contact us.

Best Seat in the House

The mezzanine level overlooking The Music Hall’s main stage offers a comfortable VIP experience with spacious seating, a private bar, pre-show dining area, and restrooms. Our dedicated service staff will discreetly get you everything you need while you watch your favorite performers.

Getting Here

Our main entrance is located at 3025 Walnut St. Philadelphia, PA 19104. We are conveniently located in the University City District of Philadelphia, right off of I-76W (Exit 345) and just a few blocks south of Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station, which includes services from Amtrak, NJ Transit, and SEPTA.

There is plenty of metered parking available within walking distance of the venue on Walnut, Lower Walnut, Chestnut, and 31st Streets, which is typically free after 8pm (please pay attention to posted parking signs.) There are also several flat rate public parking lots nearby; we recommend Cira Centre South Garage or Penn Park Parking Lot.

If you’re staying overnight, check out The Sheraton Philadelphia University City, AKA University City, The Study at University City, and Cornerstone B&B.

All levels of the venue are accessible by our central elevator. If you are using a wheelchair or mobility device, we recommend entering through the lower level on 31st Street. Please feel free to reach out ahead of time with any needs so that we can best accommodate you.

If you travel with a personal care attendant (PCA), the PCA will receive a complimentary ticket with accompanying purchase. All requests for a PCA ticket must be made at the time of purchase by calling 215-222-1400 or emailing boxoffice@worldcafelive.org.
