While our doors won’t be open until the fall, we just couldn’t wait to bring you some live music this summer! We’re throwing two Rooftop Parties at Cira Green on July 15th & 16th from 6-10pm with WCL faves PhillyBloco and Lady Alma. Join us right around the corner at 129 South 30th Street for music, food, and drinks with a sweeping skyline view. These shows are part of Independent Venue Week, and every ticket sold helps support WCL on our road to reopening.

PhillyBloco is the Ultimate Brazilian Dance Party. For the past 10 years this 20-piece collective has been rocking Philadelphia with their signature blend Samba, Funk, Reggae and New Orleans 2nd-line, all set to the Earth-shaking beats of Brazilian Carnaval. The group features a 12-piece Brazilian drum corps surrounded by singers, dancers, horns and more. PhillyBloco brings their boundless energy and raucous mashup of styles to every performance, creating a dance-party experience like no other.

FRI. JULY 16: Lady Alma & Vertical Current
“Gimme That Music” is a scintillating live concert performance featuring Lady Alma and Vertical Current Band, the show’s dynamic opening set-pacers. Relative to Lady Alma’s notable in-studio collaborations, it’s safe to call “Gimme That Music” a nonstop, high-energy, feel-good experience! Recently, LADY ALMA was recognized as one of the contributors in music by the City of Philadelphia’s Resolution in naming June “African American Music Appreciation Month” this is a follow-up to her being honored with a Proclamation by the City of Philadelphia in 2018.
