In celebration of Women’s History Month, Philly’s own Carla Gamble has curated a local lineup of ladies in our city’s vibrant R&B and soul scene. Enjoy performances from musicians Jada Lee, Natalie Imani, Tata Sherise, poetic soul queen Evita Colon, Queen of the Pen (Valerie McNear), Naima the Poet, DJ Queen Yaszy, and a special performance by Carol Riddick.

  • Join us before the show for dinner & drinks in The Lounge, our full-service restaurant & bar on the upstairs level which opens at 6pm. View menu & make a reservation.
  • Mezzanine ticket holders are seated on the balcony overlooking the main stage, with access to a private bar, restrooms, and dining area where you can order from The Lounge menu.

Carla Gamble EP Release Show with guest features from Carol Riddick and Black Canvas. Carla Gamble is a singer, songwriter from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At the age of 13, Carla released her first album titled “From My Lips to Your Ears“, bringing a combination of poetry and soulful Philadelphia sounds to a wide variety audience. By the age of 14, Carla was voted Poet Laureate of Philadelphia. In 2018, Carla released a single, "Pretty Girl Magic, which was featured in the stage play “For Colored Girls” Directed by Frankie Darcell of iHeart Radio and 105.3 FM WDAS Philadelphia radio. Her newest June 2022 release “She Is”, features Grammy award winning musicians Eric Wortham II, George (Spanky) McCurdy, and more. During the height of the pandemic, Carla started an online platform for artists struggling with the mental health effects associated with being isolated from the outside world. From that platform she started an open mic in Center City, Philadelphia, called “VibeOut” where she is known as "TheVibeSpecialist", and shares her gift of song with the best talent in Philadelphia. Carla has graced the stage for companies such as, WeBuyBlack, Forbes, and Wooder Ice; Most recently, Wawa Welcome America, Nicethings (Chill Moody), World Cafe Live, The Oval, The Delaware Water Front and City Winery Philadelphia. In July 2022, Carla received a citation from The City of Philadelphia, for excellence in Music and her contribution to the culture of the arts. Carla has plans to release new music early 2023.
