Laughing But Very Serious (LBVS) is a comedy/musical event highlighting some of the best comedic talent to come out of the Philadelphia area. This hilarious group of headliners have each been featured on numerous comedy and network platforms including Comedy Central, MTV, HBO, and more. In addition to the laughs, we have Rebel Foster joining us this time to provide the vibes during and after the show.

Domo Jones has performed all over the East Coast at comedy clubs from New York to Philadelphia. Seen on Pause with Sam Jay and Comics watching Comics. Attended a few festivals - Black Women in Comedy Fest in New York and Black Girls Giggles comedy festival in New Orleans.
Trayvon Fulton joined the U.S. Army Reserves when he was 18 after a friend convinced him that it was a great way to pick up girls. Eventually deciding to make the Army his full-time occupation he served as a 92 ALPHA (Automated Logistical Specialist) or “92 anything, because whatever you need, weʼre the ones doing it”, said Trayvon. During his time in the Army Trayvon was deployed to Kuwait and Iraq and like many Veterans had a hard time adjusting to civilian life after the military. Trayvon has learned to turn his experiences in the Army into material for his stand-up comedy.
Colin "Cab" Washington is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer from Philadelphia, PA. He started doing stand-up in the City of Angels, Los Angeles where he began doing improv at Westside Comedy Theater in Santa Monica then later the world-famous Upright Citizenʼs Brigade. Shortly after starting improv, he began doing stand-up and rose up the ranks pretty quickly, opening and featuring for headliners around the country, including Aida Rodriguez, Brian Simpson, Liza Treyger, Ian Bagg, and Clint Coley. He started 'Runninʼ Late' at his home comedy club, Westside Comedy in 2019 to diversify the classic industry model of booking “white comic after white comic”.
Marcus LeVar is an up and coming comedian from Philadelphia PA. Equipped with an ʻIn your faceʼ attitude he delivers a variety of jokes talking about pop culture, current events, Music (old & new), Dealing with a crazy Family, & going to predominately white schools.
