Emmanuel Ohemeng III & Perpetual Motion

Emmanuel Ohemeng III & Perpetual Motion breaks new ground by sonically introducing new refreshing modern sounds while still staying grounded in the roots of traditional jazz. The band consists of a trumpeter, a saxophonist, a trombonist, a pianist, bassist and a drummer. Although the band uses a traditional jazz instrumentation, Perpetual Motion combines the elements of trap, rock and R&B into its music. By mixing the tonal and rhythmic patterns of these various genres, the band strives to bring audiences on a multifaceted music journey. Perpetual Motion has also performed at many esteemed venues and festivals. The band has recently performed at Paris Bistro, The Porch at 30th Street Train Station, The Trocadero Theatre and The Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz, Fabrika, World Cafe Live, the Philadelphia United Jazz Festival, the South Street Spring Festival and the Haverford Music Festival just to name a few. Emmanuel Ohemeng III & Perpetual Motion is currently performing and working on their debut album.
