With Jamaican influence on international music inescapable in the current era, a new wave of exciting artists is emerging from the Caribbean island. One artist leading the charge for this global assault on the music industry is Tessellated, a multi-talented 24 year old Grammy & Emmy artiste/producer from Kingston who burst onto the scene in 2017 with his bona fide Caribbean hit collaboration – Pine & Ginger. Citing influences from many genres, a unique blend of styles and sounds shapes the backdrop for Tessellated's musical endeavour. Through this, he aims to push forward a fusion of Jamaica’s roots presented alongside other world genres. With this original style, Tessellated has now carved out a lane of his own already garnering support from music industry heavyweights such as Camila Cabello, Lily Allen, Shaggy, Diplo, Major Lazer, Jorja Smith, Dua Lipa and more. Continuing the trend of breaking boundaries, in 2019 Tessellated picked up a huge sync deal for his track ‘I Learnt Some Jazz Today’, a fusion of jazz, dancehall & hip hop, with Apple for their film ‘Bounce’ created for the release of their new AirPods. After its release, the song saw massive support worldwide, racking up several million plays in a matter of months and going #1 on the Jazz Billboard Chart, a first for a Jamaican artiste. In 2020, the spot went on to earn Tessellated an Emmy Nomination in the category of Outstanding Commercial. In late 2020, Tessellated released his debut project ‘Tropics Vol. 1’ which since its release has garnered millions of streams worldwide and is counting to grow. As a producer, Tessellated is also no newcomer, alongside self-producing his own records, his production has been featured on records from Tobi Lou, Jada Kingdom, Walshy Fire (of Major Lazer) and most recently Spice’s album ’10’ (executive produced by Shaggy) which secured him a Grammy nomination in the category of Best Reggae Album.
Surfer Girl – led by the dynamic Carter Reeves, former frontman of the acclaimed hip-hop/pop group Aer – continues to evolve and captivate audiences with their distinct blend of indie-pop, reggae, surf-rock, and hip-hop. Hailing from Wayland, MA, Carter’s laid-back coastal vibes are ever-present in the band's sound, which effortlessly blends sun-soaked melodies with infectious rhythms that evoke the feeling of a carefree summer afternoon. With the release of their highly anticipated new album Sunset in April 2025, Surfer Girl takes their sound to new heights. The album features collaborations with an exciting lineup of artists, including Bryce Vine, Collie Buddz, Jah Lil, Emily Brimlow, and more. From breezy anthems to introspective tracks, Sunset captures the essence of summer, love, and living in the moment. Surfer Girl’s magnetic live performances continue to make waves on major festival stages. In 2025, they’re bringing their high-energy, feel-good vibes to Vans Warped Tour in Orlando, following their, memorable appearances at Sea.Hear.Now, SunFest, Cali Vibes, and Reggae Rise Up. Known for his powerful stage presence, Carter Reeves and the band create a live show that’s both nostalgic and refreshing, sweeping audiences away with every note. As a seasoned performer, Carter Reeves and Surfer Girl bring a perfect blend of musical mastery and laid-back beach culture to every stage they grace – making each performance an unforgettable experience.
Bikini Trill is an LA based, surf-pop trio formed in 2017 by vocalist Lauren ‘LJ’ Johnson, bassist, Kourosh ‘Roach’ Poursalehi, and guitarist, Tony Barker Stern. The group seamlessly blend electronic, hip-hop drums, skank island guitars, and dreamy vocal melodies to create a sound that has been compared to the likes of Santigold, Sublime, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. In the Spring of 2017 the band played their very first set of live shows at SXSW in Austin, TX. In the Fall of 2018 Bikini Trill embarked on their first nationwide tour opening for New Politics and The Score followed by a second nationwide tour in support of Reel Big Fish. In 2019the band collaborated with Jared Watson of ‘Dirty Heads’ on their single, ‘Lost Boy’, which premiered on 96.5FM The Buzz and landed on Spotify’s Fresh Picks Playlist. 2019 also saw the band’s first nationwide amphitheater tour with 311, The Dirty Heads, Interrupters, and Dreamers and included sold out performances at Red Rocks Amphitheater, Austin 360 Amphitheater, and Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion. Although 2020 has been an unpredictable and unusual year for music, Bikini Trill has continued to deliver new music, releasing a total of eight singles between March and October (Outlaw, Higher, No Sleep Till Cali, Bullet, Thank You Mr. Postman, Dead Friends, All In, and You’re A Fool) garnering attention from publications such as Uprox and Earmilk while bolstering over half a million plays on Spotify.
