V. Shayne Frederick is a vocalist, pianist, and educator captivating audiences for nearly 20 years. DownBeat Magazine declared his vocals “soulful,” while All About Jazz suggests he’s “one to watch [...] a shining light,” and Philadelphia Inquirer lauds, "Jazz star V. Shayne Frederick [is] touted as one of the region's greatest jazz singers […] with his silken baritone and elegant charm.” Metro Philadelphia salutes him as an “elastic vocalist,” while WXPN notes “his stunning baritone effortlessly soars.” He’s electrified TEDx, NPR, and countless stages, including work with the Philadelphia Orchestra, and performing venues coast to coast. His much-awaited sixth album, Treasures, is due Spring 2025.
Philadelphia native Jakeya boasts over 25 years of music experience as an entertainer, songwriter, recording artist and vocal coach. Immersed in music from her youth, she's evolved into an Alternative Soul Indie artist, renowned for her pristine voice and dynamic stage presence. Her ability to connect with audiences worldwide, including those in the United States, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean, stems from her presentation of love, acceptance, and limitless musical freedom. Driven by a desire for greater impact, she began mentoring in 2008, establishing Jakeya Limitless Music LLC. This venture has seen her vocal coach over 800 individuals, including notable artists like Jazmine Sullivan, whom she began working with in 2018. Her collaborations extend to industry giants such as Dorinda Clark-Cole, Patti Labelle, Idris Elba, Kim Burrell, and Aloe Blacc, solidifying her reputation as a versatile and influential figure in the music world.
Talie (Nathalie Cerin) is a celebrated Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter and cultural worker originally from Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Her music, a mixture of Haitian folk and Soul, is a testament to the two cultures that have shaped her as an artist and woman. Accompanied by her trusty guitar, Talie sings to honor a rich and difficult past and to present hopeful visions for the future for anyone searching for peace. In 2019, Talie released “Solèy Midi,” a twinkling collection of original compositions and Haitian folk songs chronicling a journey to find the sun. Solèy Midi is available on all major music purchasing and streaming platforms.
