What If?
You know those “What if?” moments that keep you up at night? Like,W hat if Iʼd taken that job in Paris? Or What if Iʼd just told him how I felt instead
of sending a 2-page email that sounded like a LinkedIn profile? Yeah, weʼve all been there. But hereʼs the thing—those “What ifs” donʼt have to haunt
us; they can actually make for some pretty amazing stories. Weʼre calling on storytellers for their wild, hilarious, or even slightly cringe-worthy “What
if?” moments to share what wouldʼve happened if youʼd taken a different path, made a bolder move, or just followed your gut (or your crazy idea).
Whether it was a career gamble, a love risk, or an adventure that never was, itʼs time to spill the tea. Who knows? Your “What if” might just inspire
someone else to take a leap of faith!
Join First Person Artsʼ and our host for the evening comedian Lamarr Todd for Phillyʼs original (and best!) storytelling competition. Our scorekeeper,
local celebrity guest judges, and an audience judge will score the stories and give our storytellers helpful hints on how to improve their tales.
The winner takes home $100 and bragging rights until next year.
Come to World Café Live Theater on 4/8 for a fun-filled night with stories told by you–our audience–live on stage. The show starts at 7:30pm.
Tickets are only $15!
Got a great story and want a guaranteed spot on stage?

We choose 4 lucky featured storytellers about two weeks before the show. Each storyteller gets a complimentary 30-minute story coaching session
