Beyond the Bars Music – Student Showcase

Beyond The Bars is a 501(c)3 student driven and community based music and resource connection program that is dedicated to interrupting cycles of violence and divestment while helping our students recognize their immense potential and bright futures. Whether it be homeless shelters, trauma clinics, recreational centers, schools, community spaces or jails Beyond the Bars operates to ensure that accessible spaces are available to our cityʼs talented young artists. The Beyond the Bars Student Showcase will be a showcase of youth artists throughout 45 different music labs across Philadelphia as well as the community or artists that supports them. The showcase will feature original music as well as cross-generational jams between students and the larger musical community.
